Im Tennengau gibt es mehrere Skigebiete die in wenigen Minuten Fahrzeit erreichbar sind. 15km/22min. sind es bis Bad Dürrnberg, 23km/35min bis Rossfeld (perfekt für Skianfänger), 35km/ca.40min. bis Dachstein West, 38km/45min. bis Werfenweng, 48km/56min. bis Hochkönig ,89km/84 min. bis Snow Space St. Johann.
Tourenskigeher können die Tour direkt von Bad Vigaun aus auf den Schlenken starten.

Wunderschön gelegen am Bürgerausee, mit kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten und ideal auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (S3 und Bus 470) erreichbar, präsentiert sich der Kuchler Eislaufplatz inkl.
